All customers outside of the USA are considered International customers.

MK Digital Direct has many International customers that are very interested and exited about our products and who buy directly from our online store. Yet, there are a few things we'd like to inform you about before you buy online to help you save money. Please read all of the following information.

1. Do you ship to my country?

YES. We sell our products worldwide, and can ship to any country.

2. Can I buy directly from MK Digital Direct?

YES. Anyone, from any country can buy directly from MK Digital Direct by placing an order with us by phone or email. If you want to buy from our online store, please read the following question.

YES, anyone from any country can buy directly from our online store. Yet, there are some restrictions in terms of the payment methods accepted, which will vary depending on the country you are from. Please review the following question for more details.

4. What payment methods are accepted?

MK Digital Direct accepts three types of payment methods: Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX & Discover), PayPal payments and Wire Transfers (direct deposits to our bank account). For International payment methods accepted please review the following information:

 

For Online Purchases:

  • We accept major Credit Cards and PayPal payments from the following countries:

    • Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City.
    • Americas: USA, Canada & Mexico
    • South Pacific: Australia & New Zealand

  • For all other countries, we only accept payments using a registered and verified PayPal account:

    • Your must have a pre-registered account with PayPal (www.paypal.com) and your shipping address must be a "confirmed" (verified) address in order for us to ship your order. If you forget to (or do not) pay with PayPal (and end up paying with a credit card), we will not ship your order. We will CANCEL it and issue a refund directly to your credit card. If you have a PayPal account but you don't have a confirmed (verified) shipping address we may also cancel the order.
    • If you don't have or can't register a PayPal account and you want to place an order over the phone or e-mail please contact us.

For Regular Purchases (not online):

  • We only accept Wire Transfers (direct transfers to our bank account - contact us for more info) from customers who are not in the list of countries shown above, or who do not (or cannot) have a verified PayPal account and shipping address.
  • All customers from the countries shown above may pay with a credit card or PayPal when placing an order over the phone or by e-mail.

5. What shipping methods are offered?

For international shipping, MK Digital Direct has two shipping carriers: UPS and DB Schenker. We prefer to ship the great majority of our products using DB Schenker, which takes better care of shipments during transit and is much more affordable than UPS.

 

What shipping method are offered through the online store?

Our online store only offers and calculates shipping costs via UPS (which is usually very expensive outside the USA), yet we ship most international orders via DB Schenker which is much more affordable than UPS and takes better care of our products during transit. Also note, that in some cases our online store does not accurately calculate shipping costs for all items, if this is the case we'll contact you after you have completed your online purchase and we'll provide you with a real quote - You may have to pay for the difference in shipping costs.

  • If you make a purchase through our online store you can only choose UPS as the shipping carrier. NOTE: Even if you choose UPS (only choice available) while checking out online, we may still end up using DB Schenker as the carrier without notifying you.
  • If you want to buy online, but want to choose DB Schenker rather than UPS, please read question number 6 for how to do it.

6. I want to buy online, but want a cheaper shipping method. What should I do?

As mentioned in the previous question, our online store ONLY offers and calculates shipping rates for UPS. Yet, most of the time we ship international orders using the shipping carrier called DB Schenker - it is a better and more affordable shipping method for international shipments. Therefore, if you want to save money on shipping costs and want to use DB Schenker as your shipping carrier please do the following:

 

Steps for choosing a more affordable shipping method:

  1. Place your order online - Choose one of the UPS shipping rates available (You'll have to pay more money upfront, but we'll give you a refund later).
  2. Contact us to get the real shipping costs to your country, and inform us that you want to us DB Schenker as your carrier (rather than UPS).
  3. We'll make a note on your order that you want to use DB Schenker as your shipping carrier.
  4. We'll then contact DB Schenker to get a shipping quote for your order.
  5. We'll contact you and tell you what the difference in shipping costs were (between what you paid for UPS shipping, and the cost of DB Schenker shipping).
  6. We'll refund you the difference in costs directly to your credit card
  7. We'll ship your items

7. Do the MK products run on 220 volts, or must I use a power transformer?

Most of our products only work with 110 Volts (All MK Photography lighting systems), and therefore you will need to use a power transformer (which converts electricity from 220 volts down to 110) in order to use our products (We sell it! look for item TC-300 under accessories). Some of our products do have dual voltage (110/220 Volts) an may be used without a power transformer.
